Job Title: Web Application Developer
Location: Nashville, TN
The Web Application Developer will be responsible for supporting the existing code base as well as developing new technologies. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with situations where only limited requirements exist. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Essential Duties
Design and code web applications for Shareable Ink's application suites, including customer facing applications as well as internal applications used for deployment, configuration, and reporting.
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in computer science, or related experience. At least three years experience delivering production code.
This position requires familiarity with a broad range of both front and back end technologies:
Java and Java web technologies such as JSP and servlets Spring Framework Ruby/Rails Javascript JQuery/Prototype JavaScript JQuery Dynamic HTML CSS AJAX Techniques
Must demonstrate expertise with either Java or Ruby. Must understand advanced database concepts.
