Shareable Ink, a Nashville-based healthcare IT company, has an opening for a junior developer specializing in business intelligence and reporting technology. This position is responsible for the reports configuration and development including: gathering customer reporting requirements, designing report layout, building/deploying SQL-based report and working closely with engineering/product management to ensure customer goals are met.
Skill requirements include basic knowledge of SQL, Javascript, and database modeling/structure. Residency in Nashville is also required. Experience in healthcare and/or early-stage companies is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Build/deploy SQL-based reports under guidance of current reporting team
- Help define long-term reporting Analytics architecture and roadmap
- Assist in data warehouse modeling and design
- Engage with client representatives to understand goals and define reporting requirements
- Be an expert with respect to the reporting components of our product lines
The ideal candidate will have the following background and skills:
- Prior experience in analytics or business intelligence software (SQL Server Reporting, Crystal Reports, or other reporting software)
- Prior experience with Pentaho, CouchDB, Javascript, and/or SQL.
- Prior experience in healthcare
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to manage staff and influence cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, driven attitude with desire to excel in a startup setting
