Stephen S. Hau
President and CEO
As Chief Executive Officer, Steve Hau is responsible for all of the operations at Shareable Ink and has full P&L responsibility.
Steve is an entrepreneur who brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare information technology, software development, and new venture creation.
Prior to co-founding Shareable Ink with Dr. Huang, Steve founded PatientKeeper and held several executive positions and a Board role over a 12-year period. With humble beginnings, PatientKeeper quickly grew to become the leading developer of physician information systems with over 15% of US acute care hospitals. Steve was also a co-founder of ThinkFish Productions, a 3D software company that was later acquired by Viewpoint Datalabs.
Steve earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he specialized in electronic engineering and computer science. Steve was also a Ph.D. student at Harvard University and a recipient of the Harvard University GSAS Fellowship before leaving to start PatientKeeper.

Vernon Huang, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Vernon Huang is Chief Medical Officer at Shareable Ink and is responsible for corporate strategy. Vernon is also a board certified anesthesiologist, practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Vernon has over two decades of experience in medical informatics and mobile computing.
Prior to co-founding Shareable Ink, Vernon led the healthcare market development efforts for a division of Apple Computer. Vernon was also an early stage employee at PatientKeeper, responsible for product marketing.
Vernon is a former U.S. Navy Flight Surgeon assigned to the U.S. Marine Corps; he performs annual medical missions to underserved countries to provide anesthesia for children undergoing cleft lip surgery. Vernon sits on the Boards of Shareable Ink and the non-profit organization, Destination: Hope. Formerly, he was a Board Member for the American Red Cross, Golden Gate Chapter. He was also a contributing editor of healthcare matters for Pen Computing Magazine and PDA Developer Magazine.
Vernon earned an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a medical degree from The George Washington University. He received his anesthesia training at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Gerry Andrady
VP, Product Management
Gerry Andrady has over ten years of experience in health information technology and five years specializing in electronic medical records. Prior to joining Shareable Ink, Gerry served as a Director at Qualifacts, which grew to be the leading SaaS provider of EMR technology in behavioral health. Gerry led multiple departments during his tenure there, including product delivery, business analysis, and sales engineering. Before that, Gerry designed internal business intelligence components at HCA (Hospital Corporation of America). Gerry has also served as a senior developer and led software architecture initiatives for MedcoHealth, Bank of America, and Deloitte Consulting.
Gerry holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Suzanne Cogan
VP, Sales and Marketing
Suzanne Cogan leads the sales, marketing and business development functions for Shareable Ink. She has over 15 years’ experience in healthcare information technology including sales and leadership positions in both the ambulatory and acute care segments of the healthcare market.
Prior to joining Shareable Ink, Suzanne led the business development function at PatientKeeper, where she launched and ran the company’s successful channel sales program. In the ambulatory market, Suzanne has held a variety of sales and business development roles at Misys Healthcare Systems (now, Allscripts-Misys), most recently leading her region to a 300% increase in annual revenue.
Suzanne earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Marketing, German and French from Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland. She also earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Northeastern University’s (Boston) High Tech MBA program, where she specialized in the role of technology in healthcare.
Sean Donoghue
VP, Finance and Operations
Sean Donoghue brings over 10 years of experience in various healthcare IT corporate finance and operations roles. At Shareable Ink, he is responsible for the finance, implementation, and customer support functions.
Most recently, Sean directed various finance and operations functions at PatientKeeper (physician software applications) and Humedica (clinical informatics). Before that, he was an auditor with Arthur Andersen's high technology/entrepreneurial group in Boston.
Sean is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Boston University.
Tuyen Tran
Director, Engineering
Tuyen Tran heads software development at Shareable Ink. He has fifteen years’ experience in designing e-commerce, data storage, and healthcare information technology platforms.
Tuyen was previously a principal software engineer at Iron Mountain (NYSE:IRM), an S&P 500 company and the world leader in information management systems. At Iron Mountain, Tuyen designed and implemented advanced data storage, access, and retrieval systems. He is the co-inventor of a number of technology patent applications, ranging from large-scale distributed storage (US Patent No. 12,402,469) to sophisticated encryption algorithms (US Patent No. 12,402,470). At PatientKeeper, Tuyen was the principal system architect, responsible for designing and implementing the company’s key systems, including the underlying clinical data repository used by all customers.
Tuyen earned a Bachelor’s of Science in computer science from the University of Minnesota.
