Matthew Barnhart - VP, Product Development

Matthew Barnhart leads the product management and engineering functions at Shareable Ink.  He has ten years’ experience in healthcare information technology, including mobile and web-based solutions.

Mr. Barnhart was a co-founder at PatientKeeper.  While leading product management there, he created the company’s flagship charge capture product.  Along with Mr. Hau, Mr. Barnhart is co-inventor of US Patent No. 7110955, which remains a key component of the company’s intellectual property portfolio.  While at eWebHealth (formerly, ChartOne), he developed a web-based workflow suite for physicians and medical records departments.

Mr. Barnhart earned a Bachelor’s of Science in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During his studies, he worked on the Mars Pathfinder rover at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and contributed to Wolfgang Ketterle’s Nobel-winning physics experiments at MIT.
